Are there any vaccination requirements for cruise travel?

At present, no vaccines are mandatory for visiting any of the ports of call. However, you can refer to the CDC’s website for a list of recommended vaccines for Greece and other helpful information at this link: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/greece.

Is Greece safe to explore?

Yes, Greece is considered very safe for travelers. According to the official U.S. international travel information, Greece is classified as Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions, which is the lowest advisory level. Are pets allowed on board?

Regrettably, pets are not permitted on board. However, you may consider utilizing pet hotels.

Are there medical services available on board?

A medical center and a doctor on standby for first aid are available on board anytime during the cruise. Please note that there may be a fee to see a medical professional.

Are there wheelchair accessible cabins available?

There are wheelchair-accessible cabins available in the Spacious Ocean View category. You just have to provide us with more details about your needs during your reservation in the field ‘Do you have any special needs or disabilities that we can help accommodate?’ so that we can try to accommodate your request. However, as these cabins are limited, it’s best to book in advance.

Can I bring my own alcohol on the ship?

For security reasons, the cruise line does not permit any food or beverage to be brought on board. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the ship’s duty free shops will be retained by the cruise line until the end of the cruise.

Can passengers use phones on board?

Phones are available in all staterooms which you can use to make calls via ship’s satellite, rates information will be available on board.

Is there a dress code for the dining room?

There is no dress code, however, bathing suits or shorts in the restaurants and all dining rooms on board are not permitted.

Is there internet access available on board?

Wi-Fi is available at an extra charge on public areas and in staterooms.

What currency is used on board?

The official currency used on board is the euro.

What dining options are available onboard?

Your cruise rate includes three complete meals every day, both a la carte and buffet. Mini bar where applicable, room service and specialty menus in the dining room are available at extra charge.

What is the electrical voltage on board?

The ship is equipped with North American standard 110V/120V AC and European standard 220/230V AC outlets.

What is the luggage allowance?

Luggage allowance is flexible, but please keep in mind that cabin storage space is limited. All bags will undergo security scans.

Please note that you are not allowed to bring illegal substances, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, food, weapons, or pets on board. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during the cruise, and all drug-related laws must be adhered to.

What is the minimum age to consume alcohol on the vessel?

Alcohol consumption is allowed to the people who have completed their 18 year of age by the time of embarkation. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 18. The cruise line reserves the right to refuse serving alcoholic beverages to anyone.

What is the Smoking Policy on board?

All forms or smoking including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vaporizers, electronic cigarettes are not permitted inside the cabins, on the balcony of the cabins, in waste convenience areas and public areas on board the ship. Smoking is also not permitted in any dining venue, food outlet, theater, hallway or corridor. Please note that the cruise line may charge you a EUR 500.00 cleaning fee to your on board spending account if smoking has occurred in violation to this policy.

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas in the vessel’s public spaces.

Which staterooms have a balcony?

Suites Balcony Spacious Suite Panoramic Ocean View and Balcony Grand Suite have a balcony with Balcony Grand Suite having the largest one.

Will I need to have cash on board?

All expenses will be associated with your personal onboard account. This account will be established during check-in, and you can choose to link it to your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) or provide a cash deposit.

Your total ticket price covers all onboard accommodations, port charges, service fees, staff gratuities, government taxes, three daily meals, housekeeping, and onboard entertainment.

Are babies allowed on board?

Please note that infants under the age of six months are not allowed on board. If you require a baby cot during your cruise, you can make a request in the ‘special requests’ section of the reservation form.

Can I attend if I am pregnant?

Bookings cannot be accepted from customers who are or will be 24 weeks pregnant at any point during the cruise, as the cruise vessels are not equipped for assistance during pregnancy or childbirth. Guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during the cruise or cruise will be denied boarding.

Can I buy tickets for only one day/show?

Regrettably, we do not offer single-day tickets. It is essential to purchase tickets for the entire cruise.

How can I inform you about my dietary requirements?

Please make sure to include this dietary request for all passengers in your reservation. You can do this by entering the details in the “Meal Preferences” section of the booking form.

How do I add passengers to my cabin?

During your reservation, you can include all passengers’ names, along with any special requests or additional details, in the relevant form fields. If you’ve already booked, you can update this information by contacting our Reservations Team at reservations[at]mediterraneametalcruise.com. How many people is the maximum per cabin and what if I travel alone?

The following cabin types are available:

Double/twin cabins with maximum two (2) people
Triple cabins with maximum three (3) people
Quadruple (Quad) cabins with maximum four (4) people
Suites with double or triple capacity

All stateroom prices published on the website are based on a minimum of double occupancy. If you travel alone and want a cabin to yourself, you may book whichever stateroom type you want, nevertheless please note that you will receive a discount of $199 on the full double-occupancy rate for the cabin of your choice.

How old do I have to be?

All passengers are required to be eighteen (18) years old (on embarkation day) to travel in their own cabin. Guests under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied in the same stateroom by at least one of their parents, legal guardian or another adult eighteen (18) years or older who assumes full responsibility, otherwise they will be denied boarding.

I have purchased a T-Shirt with my ticket, how do I get it?

If you choose to purchase a Mediterranea Metal Cruise T-shirt together with your cabin and you want this delivered to you before the cruise, please contact reservations@mediterraneametalcruise.com with your reservation code and shipping address information and one of our team members will get back to you with details about shipment of the merch. If we don’t hear from you, your T-shirt will be handed over to you during checking on the departure day.

What are the children rates?

As stateroom prices are based on a minimum double occupancy, children 11 years old or younger (at the time of sailing), reserved in cabins as the 3rd and/or 4th Passenger, together with 2 full fare adults, will be eligible for a 20% discount on the base fare. However, if a child of 11 years old or younger is booked as the 2nd Passenger in the cabin, the full adult fare shall apply. For children older than 11 years old, full cruise fare applies in any case.

Passengers making their reservations through the website will need to book their staterooms at the total occupancy level for all persons, including children. For example, a Quad cabin must be booked if 2 adults and 2 children are sailing together. Upon completion of the online reservation, Passengers should contact “MMC”, by emailing at: reservations[at]mediterraneametalcruise.com providing the necessary documentation as well as their reservation code in order to receive a refund and have their payments adjusted based on this clause.

What does it cost and what is included in the price?

All ticket prices as shown in https://mediterraneametalcruise.com/pricing are PER PERSON. When making a reservation you can select the cabin category of your preference together with the number of persons joining the same stateroom with you by choosing the appropriate option. All amounts shown during checkout are the TOTAL amount of the stateroom based on the selected occupancy. An additional non-refundable fee of 8% of the TOTAL amount is applied per transaction and will be automatically added as a fee supplement per transaction during checkout.

All shipboard accommodations, port charges, service charges, ship personnel gratuities, government taxes, meals, access to all onboard events and concerts and any extras as mentioned during the reservation are included in the ticket price.

Any purchases and services of personal nature, such as services at the day spa, phone and internet access etc. are NOT included in the ticket price.

What is included in the cabins?

All cabins have private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, telephone, safety deposit box, hair dryer and TV.

What is the cancellation policy?

Even though you may request to cancel your booking, due to the unique nature of our event, any and all cabin reservation cancellations, VIP Package purchases, and the additional taxes/fees are non-refundable for any amount or any reason, and cancellation forfeits all payments. There are NO exceptions to our cancellation policy.

We strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and China UnionPay.

When and how do I get my boarding pass?

Fully booked and paid passengers will receive all necessary information, including their thickets, via email about three (3) weeks prior to departure. Check-in shall be done at the pier on the day of departure.

What are the embarkation and disembarkation times for this cruise?

Boarding will commence at 08:30 AM, and disembarkation will begin before 8 AM.

What travel documents do I need?

We highly recommend that all guests carry a valid passport and, depending on your nationality, obtain the necessary visas, including multiple-entry Schengen visas or any other required travel documents. This is essential because Mediterranea Metal Cruise includes visits to both EU and non-EU ports. Failure to meet these requirements may result in denied boarding, and there will be no exceptions or refunds for the cruise fare.

Greece is a member state of the European Union, allowing EU citizens to travel without a visa for a short-stay period of up to three (3) months. However, it’s essential to note that only selected EU citizens can enter Turkish ports with a valid ID card. For all other nationalities, a valid passport is mandatory.

If you choose to travel with your passport, please ensure that it has at least two blank pages and is valid for a minimum of six months beyond the cruise date. Military ID cards are not considered valid travel documents.

We strongly advise you to contact your local government authorities or embassy/consulate for the latest immigration regulations and requirements before your trip.
