Booking policy

Changes & Cancellations

Read the current MMC26 rules before changing names, adding guests, transferring a cabin or cancelling a reservation.

Before requesting a change

Cabin changes are possible only while availability and dates allow.

The passenger who makes a reservation for a cabin onboard is considered the cabin Primary Passenger and holds the sole responsibility for initiating or approving all modifications to the reservation.

Not all cabins can accommodate three or four guests. Cabins that can fit more than two passengers are limited, and MMC cannot guarantee the addition of extra guests at a later date.

All adjustments to reservations, including name changes and the addition of extra guests, must be communicated in writing by the Primary Passenger using the Reservation Change Request Form.

The form submission date and time determine the applicable change or cancellation fees.

Approved change fees must be paid within 48 hours or the request will be denied.

No reservation modifications are permitted from July 7, 2026 through November 1, 2026.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended because MMC has a strict no refund / cancellation policy.

Until March 7, 2026

One free change

Every cabin is eligible for one free change, including name change excluding the Primary Passenger, or adding a third or fourth passenger on written request. Extra changes in this period incur a $50 fee each.

March 8, 2026 - May 7, 2026

$100 per change

Reservation modifications in this window, including adding a guest not presently listed on the reservation, incur a $100 fee per change.

May 8, 2026 - June 7, 2026

$150 per change

Reservation modifications in this window, including adding a guest not presently listed on the reservation, incur a $150 fee per change.

June 8, 2026 - July 7, 2026

$250 per change

Reservation modifications in this window, including adding a guest not presently listed on the reservation, incur a $250 fee per change.

July 7, 2026 - November 1, 2026

No modifications

No modifications will be permitted during this period.

How to request a change

For the Reservation Change Request Form link, email the MMC Reservations Team at reservations@mediterraneametalcruise.com.

All new passengers must agree to the current Terms & Conditions before the change is accepted.

Adding more passengers than the occupancy of the initial cabin choice may require a change of cabin location or an upgrade in category, subject to availability.

Cabin upgrades and transfers

The Primary Passenger of a reservation may request an upgrade of the cabin category at any time until July 7, 2026, subject to availability. Downgrading to a cabin of lower value is not permitted.

Changing the Primary Passenger name at any time is considered a cabin transfer and is subject to a $250 transfer fee payable to MMC.

If a passenger wishes to transfer a reservation, cabin, or berth to a new passenger, prior written approval from MMC is required through the Reservation Change Request Form.

If approved, the new passenger must pay a deposit equal to the current cruise fare plus the applicable change administration fee. Upon payment, the original passenger amounts will be refunded.

Both the original and new passengers are jointly and severally liable for any remaining balance and additional fees arising from the transfer. Selling or offering the reservation as a prize is strictly prohibited.

Passenger cancellation policy

Due to the unique nature of the cruise and its related events, MMC has a strict no refund / cancellation policy. No refunds will be issued unless due primarily to the fault of MMC as described in the Terms & Conditions.

Travel insurance is not provided with your reservation. Each guest is responsible for securing their own insurance from a third-party provider if they wish to obtain coverage.

To cancel a reservation, the passenger who made the reservation must complete, electronically sign and submit the Reservation Cancellation Request Form available by request at reservations@mediterraneametalcruise.com before the reservation will be cancelled.

No-shows

Passengers are advised to be at the cruise departure point at least 60 minutes before the boarding time stated on the ticket.

No refunds will be given for guests who do not board the vessel on time, unused tickets, or after the cruise has occurred.

If a flight or other delay prevents you from joining the cruise by the boarding time on the departure date, you will be considered a no-show and MMC cannot provide a full or partial refund or credit toward a future cruise.

The same applies to any delay or failure by the passenger to return to the vessel on time after disembarkation at any port of call during the cruise.

Important terms note

The cancellation and refund provisions of the MMC Terms & Conditions apply to the cruise regardless of any representations made by the cruise line, whether in passenger contract terms or elsewhere.

Any cancellation or refund rights that may be granted to passengers by the cruise line are superseded by the MMC Terms & Conditions and shall not be applicable.
