HOW MMC WORKS
BEHIND THE SCENES OF YOUR METAL HOLIDAY
A metal cruise across the Greek islands might sound wild at first. In reality, MMC is built around a simple rhythm: Greek islands by day, metal by night. Your cabin is your hotel. The ship is your transport. The destinations are part of the experience. And when the sun goes down, the ship becomes home to concerts, bars, and a community of metalheads from around the world. Here are the things first-time guests usually want to know before joining MMC.

Is MMC a cruise or a festival?
Both — but it is more accurate to call it a metal holiday. By day, you visit legendary Greek island destinations. By night, the ship becomes a floating metal venue with concerts, bars, and moments shared with people who came for the same reason you did. It is not just a festival at sea. It is a full journey built around music, travel, comfort, and community.

What does my booking include?
Your booking gives you access to the full MMC experience: your cabin accommodation, the cruise journey, onboard meals, concerts, and the main ship experience. Optional extras may include things like excursions, premium services, personal spending, or selected drinks depending on the package.
The important part: you are not booking a simple event ticket. You are booking a multi-day holiday experience.

What does a typical day on MMC look like?
Mornings start at sea or near the next destination. You wake up in your cabin, have breakfast, and prepare for the day ahead. During the day, you can explore islands such as Santorini or Mykonos, join optional activities, relax onboard, or spend time with new friends. At night, the atmosphere changes. The ship comes alive with concerts, drinks, conversations, and the kind of moments that make MMC different from a normal festival weekend.

Why does cabin choice matter?
Your cabin is your private base for the full journey.
Different cabin categories offer different levels of comfort, location, view, and certainty. Some guests prefer the most accessible way to join. Others want more space, privacy, or a balcony. The earlier you choose, the more control you usually have over your cabin options.

Do I need to organize everything myself?
No. That is one of the main advantages of MMC.
The cruise route, accommodation, onboard meals, concerts, and ship experience are already built into the journey. You can choose how active you want to be during island days, but the main structure is already handled. You focus on the experience. The logistics run in the background.

What if I travel alone?
Many guests do.
MMC naturally brings people together. You see the same faces onboard, at shows, during meals, on deck, and during island days. By the first night, strangers often start feeling familiar. Metal has always been about belonging. MMC gives that feeling a place to happen.

How do the concerts work?
Concerts take place onboard after the island days, across selected ship venues. The schedule is designed around the cruise rhythm, so you can enjoy the destinations during the day and the music at night. You do not need to move between hotels, arrange taxis, or plan separate venues. The experience travels with you.

What kind of people join MMC?
MMC brings together metalheads from different countries, backgrounds, and generations.
Some travel with friends or partners. Others come solo. What connects them is the same idea: they want more than another standard festival weekend. They want music, travel, community, and something memorable.

What support is available onboard?
The ship crew and MMC team are there throughout the journey to help with the onboard experience.
The goal is simple: you should feel free to enjoy the route, the music, and the community while the practical side is taken care of.

Is the ship crowded during concerts?
MMC is designed as a full ship experience, not a single-stage event where everyone does the same thing at the same time. Some guests are watching shows.
Others are having a drink, relaxing on deck, enjoying the sea, or planning the next island day. The ship gives the experience room to breathe.
