Airport
Book your flight to Athens International Airport (ATH). It’s one of Europe’s most connected hubs.
Transport
From Athens Airport, take the metro to the city center. Taxis, Uber, and FREENOW run 24/7. To reach the port, use them or the MMC shuttle from downtown. Details soon.
Hotels
Stay near the city center — Syntagma Square or Monastiraki (just one metro stop from Syntagma, with easy access to the Acropolis and Plaka) — if you plan to take the MMC shuttle to the port. Alternatively, stay near Lavrio port for direct access to the cruise terminal.

From Athens Airport, the Line 3 (Blue Line) metro offers a direct route to central locations like Syntagma Square and Monastiraki, which are ideal for exploring the city and catching the MMC shuttle.

Please note that the metro does not extend to Lavrio Port. To reach the port for embarkation, consider using a taxi, Uber, FREENOW, or the MMC shuttle service.
Public buses are also an option, but keep in mind they can take quite a while and there’s no direct connection to the port.
